INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S CRICKET COUNCIL (IWCC)

TENTH MEETING

TENTH MEETING - held in Melbourne - 22nd January 1985

This meeting coincided with the 50th anniversary of the first Test Match series between Australia and England. Denmark and Ireland were admitted to membership.

The current Officers were re-elected.

The qualification for Full and Associate membership was amended; men were now able to act as delegates and the time scale for Test Matches was increased to four days.

All members were asked to forward details of their playing regulations, so that IWCC guidelines for One Day and Test Matches could be formalised. The format of the next World Cup in Australia in 1988 was discussed and the adoption of a permanent IWCC logo was agreed.

Honorary Life Membership was conferred on Miss N.P. Whitehorn, in recognition of her services over a period of 23 years and a Commemorative Plaque was presented. IWCC funds A$605.
