ELEVENTH MEETING

ELEVENTH MEETING held in London - 26th July, 1987

The meeting was attended by Australia, Denmark, England, Holland, Ireland and New Zealand. England were celebrating their Golden Jubilee with a visit by Australia. A special meeting, specifically convened to discuss International Tours and, in particular, the financial and logistic arrangements for the forthcoming World Cup in Australia, in 1988. The question of 'amateur' status being affected by the various benefits - particularly cash payments - received by players was considered and a fuller discussion document would be tabled at the next meeting.
