INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S CRICKET COUNCIL (IWCC)

FIFTH MEETING

FIFTH MEETING - held in Wellington, New Zealand on 19th February 1969

All members were present, including a new affiliation - Jamaica.

The procedure relating to the election of Offices was altered so that it was possible for each Officer to come from a different Association/Council. Previously, the President and Hon. Secretary came from the same country.

The Officers elected were:

PresidentMiss N.P. WhitehornEngland
Vice-PresidentMrs. M TaylorJamaica
Hon. SecretaryMiss J. StonellNew Zealand

Due to several delegates being unable to attend the entire meeting, a representative discussion could not take place on the provisional Tour Schedule. It was agreed the Hon. Secretary should liaise with the Committee of the New Zealand Council and utilise the services of a computer to program a new Schedule. A discussion on sponsorship and amateur status took place but, due to the brevity of the Minutes, no detailed information is available as to the views or opinions of members on these subjects.
