INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S CRICKET COUNCIL (IWCC)


SEVENTH MEETING

SEVENTH MEETING - held in London . 9th August 1976

England were celebrating their Golden Jubilee and the first ever women's match had been played at Lord's. The Officers were re-elected for a three-year term. Grenada had been admitted to membership in January, 1974.

The Caribbean Women's Cricket Federation, which had been formed in May, 1973 (President: Mrs. Monica Taylor) was admitted to membership (Observer status).

As South Africa were not able to host the World Cup, the venue was changed to India in 1977/78. A Draft Code of Conduct in relation to Sponsorship would be prepared for discussion at the next meeting.

The disappearance of IWCC records en route from New Zealand was being further investigated. The Account Book had been received, but not the Minute Books and other documentation. IWCC funds - £133 (sterling) - Full £5 Associate £4.
